Ali Manik Fan is the king of inventions. A native of Minikoy, Lakshadweep.

Manik Fan is a multi-faceted personality who is a geologist, sociologist, technologist, agronomist, naturalist, environmentalist and Islamic scholar.
He studied at the Higher Elementary School, Kannur till 7th grade.
He then returned to Lakshadweep.
From 1960 to 1980, she worked at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute.
